Issues with Google, Chrome, and Avast accessing the site

Just about every time I try to access the site via a Google search my anit-virus (Avast) blocks the page and will not let me into the site. It says there is an malicious script.

Here is the message I get.

Infection: HTML:Script-inf

I just tried playing around with this a little more and it seems to only happen when using Chrome and doing a google search. I do not get it when using IE.

Anyone else having this issue? It's driving me crazy because I prefer to use chrome but this it the only site I have seen it occur on.

I have been using Chrome without issue. Try bookmarking the forum so that you do not have to use google search to find it.

I don't have to use Google to find the forum. I use Google to search for specific topics and if one of those comes up and is in Wranglerforum then I get blocked when I click on it.

Are you using Avast as your AV?

FWIW I went into Avast and whitelisted this site. It now lets me in but it still looks like Avast is black listing something on this site. The URL that seems to be causing the issue is in the pic below in the error message.

That is coming in too small for me to read, but we find this issue is usually linked to an attachment somewhere in the thread. Are you having this problem opening all threads?

And to answer your question, I use Webroot Anywhere for virus/malware prevention.

I just tried it, and the AG survey came up, which is a pop up. should not be coming up any longer but is. Your anti virus is probably blocking that.

I am having it taken down.

See if this fixes it.

The offending ip = 190.123.47.198. Malwarebytes and Avast are blocking jeepforum due to this infection from this IP.

And this screen cap shows what the infection is trying to get people to click. To view private message, yea right.

Could you please provide us with more information about the malware Avast is blocking? Maybe the offending IP, ad, or the message you are receiving? A screenshot of malware source would be very helpful also.

Thank you for the help!

I am having the same issue. Every Google search I have done the last three days (I am in process of buying a Jeep for my wife and daughter) shows results linking to the site and as an example this is the one that I clicked on today and Avast blocked it

I haven't had access to the site in a couple of weeks. I guess my work is blocking something. I've tried Google Chrome and IE7 with no luck.

Other issues I have (which is probably user error but may be phone platform) I can't post a new thread through the app. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S5 if that makes a difference. I can't access the normal settings menu from my phone and all of the buttons on the bottom of the app are cut off.

Please help! Thanks

Here's a screen shot of the issue with the bottom buttons. As for the other, I just don't have any kind of option to start a new thread. I just noticed that I don't have the search function either. Thanks.

Also the app crashes every time I try to add an attachment image. It looks as if it's uploading and then crashes every time.

Does this happen in every forum every time?

You should be able to create a thread. At the bottom of your screen where the back button is, there should be three dots on the right. That is where the thread creation option is. Does it appear on your screen?

As for uploading an attached image, are does the crash occur when you see the percentage bar?

I don't have the 3 dots at the bottom. And as soon as I select a picture it pops up and says that it's crashed. If I continue to try to post, it starts loading (percentage bar on screen) and then crashes again.
