Memory loss

How do I quote someone?I used the quote icon but don't want the whole shebang just one sentence.I know we went thru this awhile back but memory fails me.

When you click on th quote button you are then taken to the message page. Once there all you have to do is click in the quoted message and delete (backspace) what you dote want to quote. Then click out of the quoted part to type your message.

You can also use the arrow keys to get to where you wish in the message.
