"Number of Posts Per Page" not working

I've gone into the User CP, under Edit Options and tried to set the Number of Posts Per Page to 40, but the actual # of posts is still 20. I've clicked on Save Changes and I've even gone back to make sure it kept the new setting. Am I doing something wrong?

hm, worked for me at 40 per page. It might be tied to your total number of posts on the site. You might have to reach x number before it works.. I would say log out and log in and try again though.. I will see what I can find out...

Tried logging out. Didn't help. I'll keep an eye on my post count and see if that does it.

OK. Just tried that. I even set firefox to clear all cookies and the cache whenever I close FF. It didn't work.
