Pictures on android tiny?

Just switched from iPhone and have looked and looked but can't find a solution. When I click on a posted photo it's so tiny my old eyes can barely see it and pinch and zoom doesn't work. Is there a solution for this?

Which app are you using? I hate to admit it but I am still using the app created by social knowledge and all I have to do is tap on the pic to enlarge it.

There are actually two Wrangler forum apps. One made by the forums current owners, and another made by social knowledge a few years ago under the previous owner. Do you happen to know which of the two you are using?

When I open the app, it says 1.3.18 on the bottom right of the main page. Hope that helps.
On the app store, it's listed as Autoguide.

Thank you Helena. You can choose any topic and click on pictures. It's the same across the board and seems to he that way for Android users. I'm currently on a Samsung Note 3. I also have an LG LS-970 and it is the same on there. Does wrangler forum work on tapatalk? I tried that on another forum and it worked but I couldn't find this forum in the list.

Im currently using the android app for my phone and tablet without issue. When I open a file and tap on a picture, i get a row of pictures across the top of the screen to choose from. By tapping the photo I want to view, it opens and enlarges the pic.

This is a screenshot of the Social Knowledge app that I am using

Right. But the pics are not full screen. And pinch/zoom doesn't work for enlarging. I get the pic in a fixed size about 1/4 of the total screen size. If you haven't tried it on the iphone you may not realize you are missing this.

Mine are full size. I don't think that they can get much bigger than the screen size. I agree that you cannot zoom with pinch/zoom but the pics are coming in at full screen.

Also remember that the format of the original picture determines it's size

Just tried a 3rd android phone and all the same. Is your screen just tiny? Here is a screen capture.

Hey guys,

So we had to open up a ticket with the developer. We are in the process of testing an update to the app that should fix this.

Awesome! I've gotten to where I barely check this anymore cause it took the fun out of it. Looking forward to having it back!

We have a test fix, we are going to be trying it out today and if there are any bugs still we have to send it back to the developer, if there are not any bugs we should have it up by EOW

Are you still using the Wrangler forum app? Have you considered trying the AutoGuide app. Same thing app but it gets updated fairly regularly. The last time the Wrangler forum app was updated for Android was December 6, 2012 which could be why you're having an issue.

I too made the switch from iphone to android and I have the same problem.

Another problem/concern that I have and miss is being able to scroll through photos one at a time. It seems that I have to click at the top and that is very difficulty to click the next photo without skipping one so you can see them all.

I like how the iphone app was set up and I wish android was the same.

I'm confused. Was wrangler forum app not the app you said the dev group has a fix for? Which one is the Autoguide app the one officially supported now?

Sorry for my confusion. Yes, auto guide is the one I'm using. It is broken for android on the pics. What happened to the fix that was being tested Helena?

Try downloading the AutoGuide app. We update this app fairly regularly and it will connect to this forum as well as a few other jeep forums. The wrangler forum app has not been updated in sometime and that could be causing the issue for you guys.
