popup ads?

I'm seeing popup ads here now?

I can forgive the advertising that was supposed to go away but did not when I became a supporter, but popups now too?

WTF?

I have adblock turned off for WF because I want to support the site, but another popup and it gets turned back on for good, support or no.

I've never seen a pop up on here whether I'm logged in or not, most likely the advertising company's fault. Have you gone into your User CP and checked off the option to turn off some ads?

Done, with thanks!

Make that super thanks.

Shutting off the right column has made smartphone and tablet viewing MUCH nicer!

Glad that worked out if you have an Android or iOS based device we also have a WF app in the app store, in fact I use it 90% of the time I'm on here!

On the Android side over here.
Droid Bionic and an Acer Iconia A500

What is with the new City Market add? It appears right below the quick links button. I can't search subscribed threads from the front page any more. Kinda weak.

He's using the android phone by HTC called 'EVO', has root access on his phone, sort of like having admin rights on a windows machine, with a custom made version of android 'gingerbread' called 'CyanogenMod 7' flashed on his phone. He looks forward to the new android version called 'ice cream sandwich' with the 'CyanogenMod 9'. He wants to upgrade his phone to a more powerful one from either HTC or Motorola on the sprint network. He isn't a fan of the samsung phone called the 'galaxy s 2'.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh now I get it. NOT! Dude, what planet are you from?

The most technically advanced thing we had as a boy was a microwave oven & Atari with 1 game, PONG!!! Not even a chordless phone! We did however upgrade to the 40' chord. It took hours to untangle it after my sisters were done talking on it.
