"Public service" on thread.

I posted a thread aout frame reinforcement in the builders forum. A google public service ad about feeding the hungry showed up on the initial post. I did not add this and am wondering how this happens.

Cany anyone help in this matter?

Was it at the top of the page or actually "IN" the body of your post?

public svc insert

Thanks for the comeback. The insert was underneath my post, but in the same msg box. When I replied to a respondent who commented on the msg, it disappeared when I returned.

When you were viewing the thread with the google ad in the first post you were not logged in. These ads are only visible to non-members or those who haven't logged in. You may have timed out and not realized it. If you click the "remember me" box it won't happen again.

Hope this answers your question.

your and you’re, if you figured out their and they’re you’ve got it
it’s is a contraction, its is a possessive • definitely has no a and ridiculous has no e • effect is a noun, affect is a verb
whether and weather are not the same • alot is not a word • then is all about time, than is all about comparison
two, too, and to are not just spelled differently for fun

Did you at least help to feed the hungry some how? Or did Google fail to capture you?
