Search Function

I am a newbie here. I have already learned not to ask a question that has probably been asked many times before. Try the search function first! My problem is every time I try to search for something I don't end up coming up with very much info. For example, I tried to find Smilin Bob's breather hose extension mod and I came up with nothing. I have searched for other things as well to no avail. Is it me?

Glad it seems to work for you. I don't think it works very well at all.

I just don't think there is much info on it here. Google only returns 4 results for it on Wranglerforum.

I agree almost all of my searches have come up with either nothing helpful or nothing that truly relates to what I searched. Either that or I was just impatient and didn't search through the 14 pages of results to find what I searched.

So help the guy out. His question was coherent and succinct Not like most that show up, Throw him a link. Maybe he's having issues with terminology.

Hell... I know better than to throw out a "best tires/Wheel combo/suspension ?" without reading the stickys. But when you get a weird question, why not help them out?

I think ric1997 just posted about this issue. have to go back through my links,

Don't worry about posting a question...just do it

This forum has a policy to never tell a user/member to "go search"....

the search function that WF's software (vBulletin) offers is not as "user friendly" as we would like. i find that the google advanced search is a much better tool to use; just make sure to set it to search under the Jeep Wrangler Forum - Jeep Wrangler Owners Community domain name. also, if you know the username of the threads original poster, you can search for "all threads started by username."

I must admit I have given up on using the WF search and use the Google search as described above. Results are much better.

Thanks for the replies. I now see it isn't just me. I appreciate the heads up on a "better" way to do searches.
