The report was submitted and we are just waiting on our tech to complete an investigation based on the infos provided.

For those users not using IE, are you experiencing the same site slowness problems?

For those using IE, please try using another browser as IE have certain plugins that are unable to load scripts and will lock up trying to do so. You can also try to go into your IE settings and disable all plugins that are enabled on your IE browser and see if that makes a difference during page load time.

We will provide an update once we hear back from our tech if they do see a problematic script that may be causing this site slowness for all users.

That's really cool, but when I'm at work I can only use IE. I can call my IT and have them change my security settings from med. high to high and it works normal speed. There is some weirdness when I do that though.

Marco/Helena: I received this from a member earlier today, it appears that the issue isnt only with IE.

Another problem I'm having is with the forum itself.
I've been here for years without issue. Now for some reason it takes these pages forever to load, and sometimes they flat won't. I don't understand why.
I keep my system up to date and don't have viruses, so it doesn't make alot of sense to me.
This is the ONLY site that I'm having issues with.
Any ideas?
I'm using the latest version of Firefox.
Internet Explorer does the same thing.

Jumping on the bandwagon. I am having the same isse (IE). Taking a long time to load a page and locking up other pages. 9am-4pm Pacific Time. Here is the odd thing- when I get on my home PC (evening)- the same problem. But my IPAD on Safari- fine.

iRV2.com is having the exact "slowness" issues when using IE. They are recommended changing over to Firefox. I've been using FF for several years and have not experienced the 'slowness" issues.

Did you try what I quoted below? I tested out the site in IE and I did not find the site any slower.

Apparently, there is a major conflict with the forum software and Internet Explorer. I can only say that users that switched to Mozilla Firefox eliminated the problem.

As I stated in my prior post, iRV2 forum has been working on the problem since the middle of January with very little resolution other than recommending users switch to Firefox.

That i s what we are trying to work on. The next time the site runs slow or does not load for you could you send em a screen shot. Make sure to get it right when it stops loading. We need to see the address at the bottom of the page that is slowing the load down.

I just switched over to Firefox from IE Explorer and the problem is gone. I don't know what the hang up was on IE- but Firefox is lightning fast. Problem solved for me at least.

Hmmmmmm! Appears there may be a trend here. Common resolution; switch from IE to Firefox, Google Chrome or Opera.

based on the photos you have provided, it seems like your work IE access have several built in plugins/firewall that may be causing the site slowness for you. I can see some ad image contents that are suppose to load with the site shows as "Access Blocked - Content Alert". This is a giveaway that your work access to IE is limited and have multiple block script plugins.

The ads have always been blocked by my work, its only been a problem as of late.
This is happening right now
It doesn't happen all the time, it will be down for a bit then back up

I visit Pirate, Expo, IFSJA, 4btswaps, and not one of them has done this. Granted I only go there when this happens, but I've spent more time over there than I want to.
