Some threads not showing as read

I'm having a slightly odd problem today, it seems like some threads are still showing as unread after I have opened them. The "go to newest unread" button is not working either, it's taking me to the first unread since last night (I think) or the first post in the thread if it was started today.

My first thought was that it was an issue at my end but some threads are working normally. Any ideas? It's annoying but not the end of the world.

I can't seem to replicate this issue you are having. I try going to New Posts on the top menu bar to see a list of threads. I click on the "Go to first new post" icon on any of the threads and the function does load the newest post within the thread. When I click back to New Posts, now that thread I just checked is no longer highlighted in Bold meaning it has been read. I am using FireFox as my browser.

I also use foxfire, I notice it more with the app rather than on the computer. It's not a big deal just kind of annoying at times... Thank you for taking your time looking into it!

I'm having the issue with Chrome, I haven't tried a different browser. This thread is actually doing it - I click on the go to newest unread post button, it takes me to MrSig's post. I scroll to the bottom, return to the forum using the Forum Jump button, and the post continues to show unread. If I again click the newest unread post button it takes me back to MrSig's post.
