Unhappy Turning Wrangler Forum Facebook Fans & Recent Threads off?

I lost about one-third of my screen on the right to Recent Threads & Facebook. I have them minimized but can I get rid of them entirely so I get the entire screen back like before this evening when they first showed up? I became a Fan of Wrangler Forum on Facebook but I don't need the reminder up there.
