Angry 08 JK X unlimited cabin air filter

how do you remove and re-install the cabin air filter in a 08 JK X unlimited?
there are no screws, clips visible to remove the filter.

Cabin air filters didn't start until '11. Search, and you might find retrofit posts.

I believe they started with the new interior, which was '11.

My Jeep is 08 Wrangler X Unlimited. I have removed the glove box and the filter(s) are right there in plain view. looks like air filter to engine. although mine are a little dirty. I do not see any screws, clamps or nothing to remove the grill covering the cabin air filter(s)

any help anyone?
