Exclamation 2007 JK Random No Start/No Crank

Having an issue with my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara (automatic). A couple days, I went to start it after work and it didn't turn on. There was no crank, just a click, and nothing turned on. I tried starting it another 2 times and it turned on on the 3rd try. I had some corrosion cleaned off the battery and the battery checked at Autozone. All was fine with the battery (100% charge and the lines looked good).

Since then, it's happened a few more times. It will work perfectly (always when I'm trying to show someone the issue) but will randomly not start otherwise. When the issue comes up, it always starts on the 2nd or 3rd try.

Has anyone experienced this issue? I've read that it could the battery, the starter, the WCM, etc.. Help!

Yes, there are a few possible reasons. The best one I have seen is a gear selector switch going bad. If you move the gear selector next time it happens and try to start, it will likely help. I have the same Jeep and the same issue intermittently. Have never been stranded and not yet willing to spend the cash to have the switch replaced. If you are ready to fix it, start with the gear selector switch. Negative battery cable may also need tightening so do that anyways good luck!
