Anybody have a service manual laying around? Anybody know of a reputable site to get it from that isn't Jeep.com? I don't feel like dropping an arm and leg for it.
The disk I got only runs under XP, but newer versions might run on 8.1. I paid $125 for the '09 version. Better than nothing, but pretty crappy as tech literature goes.
I think so, yes. There is a lot of actual information within, and you'll notice the forum is filled with a whole lot of guess that are just wrong after having access to the FSM.
That said, it is not as detailed as I would like. At least in the '12 and '14 editions, the wiring diagrams are not included (you can get most of what you need with a combo of the service manual and connectors.dcctools.com, however), and some of the instructions are not as detailed as what I have seen from say, GM. But at ~$125 or whatever it is now, it's an easy choice.
