2014 Battery cables

Please don't laugh too hard, but I went to disconnect the battery cables in my 2014, .... after lifting the hood, then looked at the battery cables, .... I thought to myself, ... OK, this is different.

How do you disconnect, or remove the cables? Am I not seeing the obvious?

Thanks,

Calvin

I have a feeling you shouldn't be doing electrical work on your jeep...

There's a nut that you can loosen w a 10mm wrench not far from the terminals. Loosen that and you can disconnect battery.

Also get one of these if you're adding after market accessories.$35 and made in America.

And make sure connection is very right and secure or you'll get a bunch of crazy dash warnings in time.

see attached picture; loosen the nuts that are circled in red in the attached picture w/ a 10mm wrench and then just lift up the wires.

Thanks Commodore! I was use to seeing the 10mm nut on the side of the cable!
