So my 2014 JKU is dripping oil from the 2 rubber plugs on the underside just behind the oil pan, a couple drops a day Anyone else experience this/know the cause? It still under warranty, but if there is a quick fix id rather do it myself vs. the time it takes to get to the dealership. Thanks!
I read that whole thread and it doesn't seem to be coming from the oil filter housing, that whole area is clean and dry. You can see the 2 drops forming in this pic. Is this consistent with a rear main seal leak? I only have 7500 miles on it.
I had the exact same issue with my new '14 JK. Noticed the oil there after only around 4k miles. Took it in and sure enough, it was the rear main seal. Took them half a day and was covered by warranty. It was such a slow drip that i didn't even notice a drop in oil level.
