2015 Rubicon TPMS issue

Hey guys I have been having in issue with the TPMS system and did a quick search to see if anyone had the same issue but couldn't find much.
I put aftermarket wheels on as soon as I bought the Jeep so I've had this issue since the beginning. The issue I'm having is the the TPMS light will Flash when I first start Jeep then it will turn solid after a bit. The dash shows all the individual tire pressures and everything reads correct. Sometimes the light will go out for a few hundred miles then it will randomly come back on. I figured it had something to do with the new wheels and sensors.
Now I just bought another set of wheels (20" Fuel Rampage) with new sensors. I installed them, drove down the street, all the pressures reset on the dash and the light went out. I was super happy to see that... until today I had the Jeep out and the light came back on and "--" displayed on the drivers front. I thought maybe the sensor was no good so I swapped that tire with the spare. Took it for a ride and after a while the drivers front started reading the pressure again but the pass front now reads "--".
I've drove around for about 45 min and still no change. How long should it take for the TPMS to relearn the sensors?
I also came across the TSB #68241067A$ that has something to do with 2015-16 TPMS Light but I could not find any info on what the tsb is about.
Next stop will prob be the local dealer-

Thanks in advance!

There could be a sensor issue, but what pressure are you running. If it's approx. 3-5 lbs. under the pressure listed on the door jamb you'll get a light. It can take up to a few on/off cycles, driving for 10-20 miles/minutes for the sensors to synch. Some will synch right away, some don't. If you're at the correct pressure, or adjusted the pressure with a programmer and there's still a problem take it in. The TSB is for 15&16 JK's as you mentioned regarding a possible problem with the sensor(s) or control module. The control module is part of the wireless control module.

What sensors are you using? You need to make sure you use 433 MHz sensors that support the Wireless Auto Locate (WAL) system for the EVIC tire display to work properly.

The Mopar TPMS sensors are made by Schrader (OEM). Best to get either the actual Mopar ones, or a Schrader 433 MHZ WAL one. The Mopar 68241067AB is the OE part for a 2015, but they are about $60-$70. A good alternative is the Schrader 20398 (same sensor, but branded Schrader rather than Mopar), which is more like $20-$30.

Just be sure to get a name brand from a reputable dealer (there are counterfeits out there made in China and labeled "Mopar"). Generic sensors that are often <$20 do not work with the WAL system in the Jeep properly (in my experience anyway).

Thanks for the info, I stopped by the local dealer today to see about making an appointment to have the system checked out and once I told him I had aftermarket wheels and tires he pretty much didn't want anything to do with it. Said he wouldn't cover it under warranty lol I was like yeah no shit, I'll pay your for the time, I just need to know if it's the sensors or the receiver in the Jeep that's having issues.
I think I'll buy a set of the Mopar sensors anyway and have them installed to see if that helps.
The new tires and wheels came with ORO-TEK RSCOSC-8214B sensors installed.
For tires I'm running 35" Open Country RT and Fuel 20x10 Rampage 2 piece.

Save your money on the sensors and buy something much more useful for your Jeep! Delete the light and never have the problem. The TPMS light issue is all over this board and everyone spends big bucks on sensors and programmers when the simple solution is delete it! Granted you will have to check your tires now and then just as we all have for many many years!!!

We existed for many years without airbags, too. However, they as well as TPMS, are welcome safety features. The TPMS could potentially save someone from a crash if a tire started losing pressure while driving at highway speeds.

I certainly will not be disabling mine and a shop that does so, or installs aftermarket tires on a customer's vehicle and the TPMS no longer works, is in violation of the law and subject to a big fine.

I really don't care if someone thinks TPMS systems are stupid, a waste, or even government over reach. But they are clearly a safety improvement like airbags, seat belts, and collapsible steering columns. I don't want to disable mine.
I would not mind turning the light activation point to a lower value like 20 psi, probably will someday. That is easy enough to do.
To me the best part of the TPMS, though, is that mine shows not just an idiot light but tracks the actual air pressures in the tires. As someone who has spent much time in the past with air pressure gauges, this is a massive convenience. A back up camera I don't want. But the TPMS system on my Jeep is not something I would disable. To each their own.

I ordered the Mopar sensors and had them installed this week. No luck, now it only reads the drivers side front tire all the others are "--". The tire shop has the scan tool to read the sensors and they are all working, good batteries, correct frequency.
Monday I'll bring it to the dealer and see if they can find out what's up.

One last thing you might try is a power cycle on the TPM receiver. This will force a learn routine (which should happen automatically at the beginning of a drive cycle, but maybe your receiver needs a reboot).

To do this, just remove and re-insert fuse M29 in the TIPM. That will power cycle the TPM. Then just drive for 20 mins over 20 MPH, and it *should* re-learn all your sensors.

I disconnect the battery overnight, today it basically the same , the drivers front pops right up as soon as I go over 15mph the others don't register. Drove it for about 30min so far today no changes.
I actually do have the stock wheels and tires but I don't have a set of spacers to run them with my lift.
I did just notice that 56029398ab is the part number that they sent me which is different then the one mentioned at the beginning of this thread. Is there a difference with these part numbers?

Went to the dealer today and they said they could not read the sensors with their scan tool. Said aftermarket wheels are to thick for the signal to pass through lol.
I read some more reviews on the oem sensors I bought from Amazon and pretty much determined that they are probably junk.
Bought five brand new ones from the dealer today and will have my tire guy install them tomorrow. I will keep track of the ID's and tire positions so if they don't auto learn, the dealer can manually enter them into the system.

Tried M15 & 29, no change. I'm going to get a few from the dealer and swap them out. Guessing the ones from amazon are cheap knockoffs or very old and the batteries failed. I don't know.

OP - how has it been behaving since last update? I disabled mine because it was intermittent wheel falling off Jeep - infamous " -- "
FUEL 17" rims Original TPMS sensors and Nitto tires - 2 of the 5 tires are random drop outs and then randomly come back online....

THX
