3.5" rough country question

Preparing for the install I was reading the provided instructions and noticed a statement that said "on 2012 models additional exhaust modifications on the passenger side crossover pipe will be required for adequate clearance on the front driveshaft"

Any difference in a '12 vs a 2014?
Is this really required?

Info appreciated as usual!

Thanks!

Yes I do believe you will need an exhaust spacer. 2012 and newer.

Well I guess that would have been good info the company should have offered! CRAP!

Is this a must have before driving? Or can I install and order them?

Under their "notes" section it has a statement about exhaust modification needed.

Teraflex and RubiconExpress make sets for less than $50. Just find a vender and buy one.

Find a exhaust shop and have them move the crossover back. This was mentioned over on another forum. $50 or so

Or

Lift, wheels and tires all installed. FYI... The exhaust does not touch! In fact it's about 2" from touching! Although I'm still going to install the exhaust spacers when they arrive.

Ok you should be good when driving just don't let your jeep go down too much until you install the lift

Good luck!
