What's up with the very short 2nd? I have a 13 JK Rubicon it's all stock for now. It drives me nuts sometimes. It only stays in 2nd for 200rpm then it will drop 700rpm into 3rd. Which kinda bogs it. It seems to like a heavy foot better. Speaking of heavy. The throttle seems awfully firm on this thing also. On long road trips I have to use cruise to give my foot a break. I was thinking of looking into spring swap or something. To lighten it up a bit. Or is this all just me? I am coming from a FJ80 and a 02 F250 7.3. Other than these issues. I am really enjoying the JK. The motor is sweet! I almost don't miss my FZj80. Almost
My buddy let me drive his 13 JK in exchange for driving my 05 LJ. I can tell you we both were like "Damn. That JK has a really tough gas pedal"
Jokingly commented that's how Jeep plans to get to that EPA mile per gallon requirement.
