Was looking at various options such as a supercharger or turbo for my 2012 JK/. Doing the math many of these application were in the 5k to 6k and up cost, sometimes higher. To my luck I know someone who happens to be a co worker of mine who has a family member who works for MOPAR. He told me he can get the the 5.7 HEMI with the MDS feature that saves you fuel and shuts down cylinders, etc. For $3,900 his cost, plus Timing belt cover $205, Cylinder Cover $113, and a few other bolts that cost approximately between $1.63 up to $3.82. now he said that I will need a wiring harness which will have to be an aftermarket one. Where exactly can I get this wiring harness? and lastly, I need a good shop recommendation to do the swap in the Chicago, Illinois area... My stock 3.6 engine has barely 29k miles and I may just sell my 3.6 once its removed... Now why bother with superchargers, turbo units when you can get a HEMI??
Thanks
