Accessing the cigarette lighter wires behind the dash...

I've been googling for about an hour and give up....

The 12v outlet below the ac controls in the 2011+ interior....Is there an easier way to get to them than to remove the entire driver side and center dash? Like somehow to remove the passenger side panel around the glovebox?

If not, I guess this is what I'll be doing.

I watched that video and yes that is how it comes out he makes it look a lot harder than it really is I can have it out in 2 minutes sitting in the driver's seat once you get all the screws out it just pulls right off.

It was easy getting the hot wire on my 13'. It's just to the right of the hump under the dash. No need taking out the glove box. Look for the wire bundle. Carefully cut the insulation back exposing the wires. I'm pretty sure the hot wire is red. I could check if anyone wants to know for sure.

Look for the heaviest wire. Mine is a heavy blue wire. The others are half the thickness.
