Backspacing / Offset Question

I am looking at wheels for my 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK and was not sure of whether they would fit. The size of the wheel is 17x9, with a 4.75 backspace and a -6 offset. The tires that I will be mounting on the wheels are 315 70 17 and I will be adding a 2.5 Terraflex lift.

I am sure that this topic has been beat to death...however, after reading through the existing threads, I only became more confused. So can someone help enlighten this newbie around whether this wheel and tire combo will work?

Thanks.

That is a great combination and will work just fine..:thumb:

You may need to re-gear, but that is a different subject.

Thanks Old Dogger, appreciate the insight...and I have been researching and reading the lenghty debate on this forum regarding regearing. :happyyes:

Yes, you're good. Offset is not typically important to us Jeepers, we just need a back spacing between 4.5 and 5.2 to clear larger tires.
