Blown our airbags

I just bought a 2013 2 door Sport Wrangler, but it has both front airbags blown out. Can someone tell me a reliable place where I can purchase themo online?

Thanks

Ummmm....I don't think I would be buying a 2013 that had both airbags blown out....not unless I was getting it for damn near free and it was going to be used as a trail vehicle only.

Oh.....Welcome to WF...

Do you have the ability to recalibrate the system once the new bags are installed? If not, you should have a dealer or qualified shop do the work.

If this is a salvage title vehicle I wouldnt buy it for more than 50% of the cost of new and that is IF it is even worth fixing.

The OP's location is shown as Guatemala. Looks like a wrecked (totaled) vehicle got exported for pennies on the dollar.

Probably why he has to look on line as well. Try moparonlineparts.com They are a vendor here. And, as others have mentioned, the airbags are not a thing to mess with in the driveway.

Airbags are dangerous and with what they cost you would not want to turn the key and have them go off again.
Two guys I work with buy totaled but usually stolen sttipped cars and rebuild them. They finished one and were sitting in the front seats and had just lit their victory cigars when they started the car to have both airbags explode in their face.

Thanks for the tips. Should've read this before buying I guess. Wish me luck.

+1 on danger, I think they all contain a small explosive charge (at least they used to).. it's not that big however it's likely enough to do some serious damage to yourself. I'd do without them..

Explosives are the only way they would ever work fast enough
