Bolt Torque settings

Im looking for the torque settings for a '11 JK sway mount and shock bolts/nuts. Can anyone tell me where I can find this info?

thanks I appreciate that. I was looking on google and found that project Jk after I just posted but not sure what the sway bar would be under?

Am I correct to assume its under stabilizer bar link nut/bolt or stabilizer bar to link nut for both front and rear suspension?

Ha, beat me to it. I have that page bookmarked. Thinking about just printing a copy for garage.

Stabilizer bar link nut/bolt upper/lower refer to the connections between the sway bar link and the sway bar and the link and the axle if that is what you mean. What the page has labeled as retainer bolt is for the bolts that actually hold the sway bar to the frame.

I am disconnecting the link from the axle & disconnecting the lower bolt on the shock.
Going to add a spacer lift.
Im assuming for the Front it would be
Shock Absorber Lower Nut

Looks OK to me. I feel like there was one of the front link bolts I was not able to get a torque wrench on, probably the uppers. Can't recall, but as keeper said, good and tight if you run into the same thing.

Honestly, i've never put a torque wrench on anything other than the control arms and TB's. Good and tight works for me.

If adding spacers, I highly encourage you to loosen all 20 control arm and track bar bolts. Give the jeep a good shake and torque all at the new ride height.
125 all except front upper arms 75 ft lbs.

Honestly, i've never put a torque wrench on anything other than the control arms and TB's.
It gives me peace of mind. Also, it's helped me get a feel for what good and tight really means for different parts of the jeep. I had a tendency to way over torque some things and not even be close on others. Consequently I think I've probably developed unhealthy torque spec OCD.

I was actually surprised to read that kjeeper. You've always struck me as the guy that probably has all these memorized!

Thanks Kjeeper10, I wasnt aware of that. So even if I just add .5" in the rear and I havent decided on .5", .75", or a full 1" for the front yet, its still necessary to loosen and re-torque the control arm and track bar bolts?
Is this to recenter the axles? And to give the jeep a good shake I would assume all four wheels/tires would need to be off and the jeep on jack stands correct? How hard of a shake do I need to give it? Can I get away with just doing the front and then the rear at separate times? Of course not running the jeep with the front lifted vs the rear stock.

I agree with you Amphibole. I have a tendency to over tighten stuff. Sometimes I just dont know my own strength and read into tightening it too much or should I say start to question whether is tight enough. lol!
