Broken front door connector, HELP PLEASE!

Hello all!
This is maybe my second time posting here so I apologize in advance if this has already been covered somewhere else but I couldn't find it.
I took the doors off my jeep today and rested them against the wall in my garage like an idiot and accidentally rolled over the plastic connector part that's attached to the door that is used to plug into the jeep so the windows work...
Does anyone know the easiest way to go about fixing this? I'm not an overly mech savvy person especially when it comes to wiring so is this something that can be fixed easily or will it require going to the $hop? I'm at work right now but I can def post a pic of the housing once I get home since I know pics always help.

Thanks in advance Jeep Fam!

If it's broke, as in shattered to pieces, you'll have to get a new connector, know as a husk, for the door.

To fix it you use a dental pick to remove each wire, one at a time from the bad husk and the install it into the new husk.

Depinning the old husk and transferring the wires to the new one is not a hard job. Assuming you get all the wires in the right spot. ;)

The issue will be finding a new compatible "husk". That will not be a part found in the service departments part listing. He may have to break down and get the entire wiring harness either from Mopar of the local salvage yard.

i preface this with saying i'm not an electrician and i don't know much about cars by any means: does anyone know if i would be able to just buy another connector, cut the current wires that are currently there and fuse them with the new ones to get it to work?
Yea, just get a new husk as mentioned above either from a store or junkyard and repin it. Pretty easy fix.
