Hello all!
This is maybe my second time posting here so I apologize in advance if this has already been covered somewhere else but I couldn't find it.
I took the doors off my jeep today and rested them against the wall in my garage like an idiot and accidentally rolled over the plastic connector part that's attached to the door that is used to plug into the jeep so the windows work...
Does anyone know the easiest way to go about fixing this? I'm not an overly mech savvy person especially when it comes to wiring so is this something that can be fixed easily or will it require going to the $hop? I'm at work right now but I can def post a pic of the housing once I get home since I know pics always help.
The connector mates to the female one on the tub behind the dash. You will either need to fork over for the same in replacement. Or, if you are any good electrically, you can swap both sides out with a different plug.
The issue will be finding a new compatible "husk". That will not be a part found in the service departments part listing. He may have to break down and get the entire wiring harness either from Mopar of the local salvage yard.
I've run over mine before too. It didn't break, it just got smashed. The plastic was fairly pliable and I was able to get it back to its original shape. Just took a few minutes worth of work.
hey guys, i was a bit late but here are the pics of the damage... http://postimg.cc/gallery/30du6eo8y/
i preface this with saying i'm not an electrician and i don't know much about cars by any means: does anyone know if i would be able to just buy another connector, cut the current wires that are currently there and fuse them with the new ones to get it to work?

I would try to reconnect it first. It doesn't look as bad as you described it to be.
