My Jeep = 2015 4 door Sahara unl. I recently installed a .75" spacer to level the front end. To my disappointment, it still has a rake. The question...can I add a second spacer on top of the .75" one to get my desired 1.25", or do I need to remove the .75" ones and find one that is bigger?
some spacers like tera flex spacers are designed to stack some are not. being you have to pull the coil to add a spacer why not just buy a Rock Krawler or Tera flex 1.5" coil. both ride better than stock coils any way and the price will be close. Not sure what the TF coils are via Northridge but the RK are $125 shipped for the front pair.
Other than the factory 1/2" rubber isolator, stacking another spacer would not be the best option, especially for off-roading.
As stated in another post above, you may as well put in a larger spacer while u have the axle dropped.
again if a spacer is designed to be stacked why would not be recommended? neither the spacer nor the coil know if it is a one piece spacer or two piece spacer. The material is tough and held in place by the coil. Almost every spacer uses stock isolator so I am curious what the difference is. Maybe there is one that is why I want to know.
I am the OP. I talked to a teraflex tech and he said it is ok to stack as long as you stay under 2". I need 1.25" and can't seem to find one that size. I will either stack or go to 1.5" and hope the front doesn't sit up.
Damn we making mountains out of mole hills in here? I have the Teraflex spacer style leveling kit. The front comes with 2 pucks, designed to be stacked. You can stack them.
I've wheeled my stacked TF leveling kit plenty hard. No issues
