Cb radio and antennas/linear amp

Hello All

I am wondering and thinking of putting a cb radio in my wrangler and a rear antenna. Does anyone know of any cb shops that i can call or go to in miami ,fl. I want the signal to go far and be able to talk to and help people as i drive.

Let me know if you all think of anything. Have to think apocalypse alien or zombie

Can't help with shops in your area. I can tell you there are no 11m amps worth a damn. They will splatter your signal all over the band, make for angry neighbors on the trail, and could get you in hot water with the FCC. Best thing you can do is get a good antenna and tune it right. If you really want an amp, get a 10m amp. It will keep a tight, clean signal and will work pretty good on 11m. Just don't run it on the trail, you'll blow everyone out.

Hot water is defined as a $10,000 fine and confiscation of equipment.
