Common issue or unique to my wrangler

Hello guys, new here! I have a 2012 Wrangler sport that has now had the Clutch Interlock Start switch replaced 3 times in the 2 years I have owned it. The dealership says that it is normal wear and tear but it seems excessive to me. Especially since we only have 26k miles on it. Is anyone else having this issue or is my wrangler just special.

Thank you in advance,

John

your dealership is full of crap on an epic level.

I have seen 10 year old government owned vehicles with the original clutch switch.

I had TJ for 10 years, a JK for 5 years, both manuals and never had to replace that switch; not once. Your dealership sounds like they're talking out of their .

I had to replace the switch on my TJ after 3 yrs. but not my JK. If they keep getting the switches from China I'm sure they'll have to keep replacing them. Other than that, it's not normal.
