dash panel warping

I have a 2104 wrangler and have had the dash panel surrounding the stereo replaced twice now in 6 months of ownership. It keeps warping and sticks out on the bottom of the stereo. Has anyone else had this problem? I had a case with Jeep corporate who looked into the problem and said it's acceptable and within their tolerances. It's not acceptable to me. What can be done when they basically tell me "sorry we can't help, live with it." It's a brand new vehicle with less than 4,000 miles. Granted I live in Phoenix but none of the other vehicles sitting on their lot have the issue and my vehicle sits in a garage both at home and work so it doesn't sit in the sun. I may be spoiled in that I also own a Porsche Cayenne that has no problem nor did my FJ Cruiser that I got rid of to buy the jeep. Do I just get rid of it and get another FJ and never set foot in a Jeep dealership again????

I have the same problem. Had it replaced, no improvement. It is a design flaw. I was mad about it at first, now I just don't care.

I had mine replaced too ( live in Denver). They either have not had enough complaints or do not have a fix yet and that's why you got the answer you did. This is true of all manufacturers. I wouldn't give up on Jeep over something this small, they are too much fun!

Mine is the same. Dealer ordered a new one but hasn't came in yet. If the new one is or does the same I'm just going to live with it.

That's exactly what mine looks like. I like the vehicle but the way I was treated as a customer to me was BS and bad enough to get rid of the vehicle and never set foot in a Jeep dealership again. Haven't decided how I'm going to handle it yet.

Here's my honest opinion. This issue came with the dash redesign in 2011. So, August 2010 is when people started seeing this. They aren't going to fix it. Compared to other problems, this is such a minor issue. If something like this bothers you, consider stepping out of the Wrangler and into something else.

Chrysler has some of the worst QA out of the major car manufacturers and the Wrangler is the bottom of their priority list. You're LUCKY to only have that issue.

This got my interest since I have a 12 that has been sitting in the hot AZ sun since I brought it home, never garaged. It has a slight bow but nothing like I saw in the other thread. I never noticed it. Now I wish I had not looked at this thread!

I sometimes rest my other fingers there when operating the screen on the radio. Like an orientation point.

Make is usefull, especially in bumpy situations like the beach.
