Be careful - mark your target area lightly with a grease pencil - spray a little soapy water where the decal will go and the back of the decal - apply the decal, get it in position and carefully use a squeegee to push out the water - slowly and carefully pull off the backing at an angle.

Pixeldecals.com does have a video.

If you are talking about the hood decals that go along side the hood, First wash down the area with Dawn soap and water, rinse and dry. This will remove any wax. Tthen place the decal where you want it, use some masking tape to hold the top of the decal to the hood. Step back and make sure you like the position. Flip the decal up and remove the protective sheet and carefully flip the decal back down and press down on the decal so it sticks. Carefully remove the backing and check for any air bubbles. You can use a little soapy water if the decal is large, but chance are you won't need it for large lettering.
