Just got my RK draglink flip. Reading the instructions it says I can reuse the pitman arm. Should I?

Also, it talks about using a dead blow to disconnect the old arm. I've also seen tools for removing the pitman arm. Any suggestions here?

Yes you'll be fine using the stock pitman arm. And you shouldnt have to remove the pitman arm to do the drag link flip. Does it come with a bracket to raise the track bar, if not you will have get one or youll have a good amount of bump steer. Also youll need to use 3" of bump stop to keep the drag link from contacting the frame

Got the track bar mount that raises it about 3 inches and already had 3 inch bumps on the front.

So just screw the bar on to the old pitman? Cool solution.

The install is at least a couple weeks out. Need someone to weld the track bar bracket when I'm done. I'll post after that.

Ok. Second time through the instructions for this install. It says, "There is an extra hole in the front track bar bracket support bracket to allow for relocation of the OEM steering stabilizer as shown below. All you need is a spacer and the hardware."

Do I want to relocate the steering stabilizer or have too? Also, what spacer and hardware do I need?

Above the tie rod .. Def a good idea. Wasn't aware they instructed to use a spacer. You need the bolt spacer to to clearance the shock away from the bracket.

I am running their tie rod and it is stout! I have taken it off-road a couple of times since it has been installed and no issues. I have not hit any rocks with it, so I have not tested its limits. The Synergy drag link boot ruptured on me and I'm not sure why. Maybe too much grease in it.?. The boot on the tie rod is doing fine.

Synergy makes quality products and you won't be disappointed with their stuff. I'm running synergy tie rod, drag link, ball joints, axle sleeves and inner C gussets without any complaints, minus the one grease boot. I use the Terraflex HD track bar only because I bought that prior to any of the Synergy products and didn't feel the need to use Synergy's track bar. Hope this helps some.

1st note. Couldn't find anyone that had an 11/16 drill bit. Had to order it. Guess this will be done next weekend.

Almost all together. What fun.

So a couple of notes.
1. You have to drop the drivers side tie rod end to get the new bolt in for the drag link flip.
2. Drop the steering stablizer to get the bolts in for the track bar mount.
3. Crush sleeve will not fit until you get the first two small bolts in.
4. Track bar will be off centered on the new mount. Install everything and then do an alignment.
5. RK has done it again. The created and even bigger friggin Jam nut. Looks like a 2" wrench is needed. Bet they want me to do 400lbs of torque on this one.

The nice thing in this was RK has a flat surface on the bar where you can put another wrench. Allows you to tighten the jam nuts without the bar moving.

All done. Just need to weld the bracket. What a pain adjusting the steering. I'd get the wheel centered then go to lock the jam nuts and that would move the bar and move the steering off center.

Had to pull my track bar back 1/2 inch to center the axle.

Over all not real difficult. Steering is improved, everything feels right driving it now.

Added a new steering stabilizer. The stock one would slip when going from left to right felt weird. Now I really like my steering. Only issue was when I tried to mount it above the tie rod the clamp hits the diff cover. So I'm going with it hanging low for now.

The crazy thing is that I want to get it out of harms way, so I'm looking at tie rods which come with a clamp. Don't want to buy just a new clamp. God help me and my bank account.
