Apparently there isn't much you can do to the 3.8 to get much more oomph out of it.

But honestly I don't know why you'd need it. All the way up thru 4th it's got plenty of power. Even passing, I drop down into 4th and the Jeep just puts me in my seat and away I go.

Maybe it's the difference in weight between the sedan and the coupe, but I dunno.

Next time I'll remember the "Sense of humor required" disclaimer.

Downshift.

What have you done to her? Larger tires might need a regear.

I'd love to see what a Ford 4.9L I6 would do in a Wrangler.

What gears are you running? I'd go higher, something like 4.10. If she's bogging, maybe it's more of a torque need than hp?

I have a '07 and put 4:88 in mine(auto). Love the power and torque. Running 35s with no problems. Locked the rear with eaton E locker while I was a it. 13-15 MPG

We recommend to all our potential customers to re-gear first to match the largest planned wheel size. If you still find it lacking, we are sure we can help out.

I would recommend gears first. I have no complaints with my 3.8 6spd and 4.10's.

All the cheap performance products suck. Chips, echaust, intake will have little gain

Shop I was at today had a 10YA Rubi with the RIPP Charger just installed. I would love to do it if I had the money to burn.
