Question ESP and BAS question/trouble

What would cause my ESP/BAS light to come on while driving through a school zone with a perfectly flat and well paved road? I had an auto start installed a few weeks ago would that maybe have jacked with some sensors or whatnot? I drove a minute hoping it would turn off and when it didn't i pulled over and restarted the Jeep. The lights turned off at that point but it spooked me. I love my Jeep but I've had nothing but issues with the dealership so I'm VERY reluctant to take it in unless its a potentially disasterous issue.

it happens to mine a few times a month or so but never when it goes to the dealer! I can't help you but you are not alone!

This has happened to mine too. If I remember right the '07 owners manual suggests pulling over, turning your Jeep off and shifting into park. When you restart it, the dash light should go off.
