Exhaust Help

Im Looking To Buy A New Exhaust For My 08 Jeep Wrangler. This Will Be The First Mod Of Many. I Am Looking For Something That Sounds Mean And Loud. Any Suggestions? I Have Heard The Magnaflow But I Want Something More Of A Bad Ass Rumble.

Thanks

Get LS1 engine swap, and you won't need exhaust. =)

May be tough to get "bad ass" out of the 6-cylinder. 2-door or 4-door? CoolTech makes a good system for the 4-door. I have it and like it. But it's Magnaflow...

I'm pretty sure Gibson, Borla & Magnaflow all have applications for the 3.8L. HOWEVER, I do not think you will get much more than the pissed off bumblebee sound from the V6. I've heard a couple and they sound like crap. If you do get one that has a badass rumble, please post an audio clip.

Try a glass-pak exhaust. It's basically a straight pipe without baffles.

If it is a 4-door this Cool Tech kit that also relocates the muffler to a spot more protected looks good.

I disagree. V-6s can sound good if properly done. I had a Grand Prix with a 3.1 v-6 and it sounded incredible with the stock resonator through two magnaflows. I think that any straight through muffler will sound fine as long as you keep the cat on it. Catalytic converters tend to remove a lot of high end pop from exhaust notes.

Get flowmaster.

I've just had that put on this past weekend, flowmaster 50 series delta flow. Sounds great, and no drone on highway.
