For Daggo......Compass changes

We were talking about the Jeep's compass and how you had to reset it every now and then....and how yours is reading backwards. Here's an article about that, and a reason that we really should recalibrate the compass every now and then.

Sometimes, the poles completely flip -- and presumably when that happens, many bigger changes are afoot than modest tweaks to airport signs. The last time the planet experienced a polarity flip was 780,000 years ago.
Ah Ha!

Tom, is yours still reading backwards? I did read the post about you calibrating the compass, but missed that part, I guess. I too had my compass reading funny after installing the Daystar dash top, seemed to be backwards and would not calibrate. Opened the dash top, turned the compass thing 180 and reinstalled it. All is fine now.

So, you thinking I turned my compass thingy around 180 degrees for nothing?

I had to flip mine around as well and now it's fine.
