Freedom Top Panel Alignment

I went to take off my Freedom top panels for the first time today, and I noticed that their alignment was a little off. Is this normal? Pictures were taken before I took off the panels (All latches and locks were still tightened).

Not normal. Are you seating them properly? Perhaps you're setting it down over certain parts of the rubber seal? It shouldn't sit like that at all. Can you post a top down picture?

Something is not right. Take your time and figure out if there is anything keeping the panel from seating correctly. DO NOT FORCE IT.

There's a short post that goes into a hole in the sports cage maybe 6" from the front, is the panel raised by the a pillar or just the b pillar?

There's a small black "foot" at the back of the panel. It's meant to be used if you install the Freedom panels without the rest of the hard top. Don't know if that could cause this issue, but make sure it's not flipped back.

Thanks for all the suggestions. The issue occurs only in the area in the picture (the picture is showing the right side, but both sides have the problem). The top of the top is flush and seems to fit quite well.

I did some more inspecting, and found the seal to be deformed (see pic). Now I'm pretty sure this is not normal. I guess QC must have missed this somehow.
