Front bumper mods, what did you do?

Know of two different stubby bumper end caps out there but who has done something else. Post up, post some pics. I'd like to cut bumper right by milk jug ends but want a flat smooth finish, not using those end caps. What could be used to cap the ends that would not look like crap and stand up to a little abuse?

I used the VDP end caps and think it turned out great. There are other companies that make flat ends.

The VDP's look like the other caps to me.. It looks like there is a difference in the finish

The finish is the same. The caps were clean, the bumper wasn't.

Who makes flat bumper covers? Rugged ridge makes metal stubby ends that are flat but I'm looking for a flat cover that could go right on the end if I cut bumper just past milk jug. Those other bumper caps are nice, but I want the bumper to be shorter in length

What kind of hoop is that? Does it have light mounts?

Has anyone cut their bumper right at the end of the milk jugs and used some of the plastic from the cut off ends to "finish" off the ends, to cover the cut parts in some way?

I remember seeing a write-up about a year ago about that very thing, but I couldn't find it this morning. It involved heating the plastic and other work that I knew I couldn't do.

I went with the Rough Country end caps; I could handle that.

Someone dig this up, I'd love to read it!
