Front End Wreck- What to Modify after an acident

Right before Christmas an old man in a Nissan Versa decided to do a U-turn from the far right lane of a 4 lane road without bothering to see that I was barreling down the left lane at 45+ mph. I swerved to avoid the collision, but unfortunately nailed the front passenger side of my 2011 2dr JK Sport. Initial estimates totaled $5K and were based on cosmetic stuff (front hood, bumper, headlight, etc.), but under further inspection it looks like I have some major suspension issues going on. The latest is that I will need a new front axle, something with the water pump (belt I think is what he said which sounds weird), and even my oil filter was cracked...

Here's what I am wondering... The accident was obviously not my fault so I will not be out a dime to get things fixed/replaced. What aftermarket parts should I use instead of OEM that would improve performance/appearance/etc.? I already have my eye on a Rampage Front Recovery bumper which is the same cost as the OEM, and the repair place is more than happy to use whatever parts I choose. Thanks for your suggestions!

I'll admit I don't know much about the mechanical stuff, but I thought I'd give you a +1 on the Rampage full width recovery bumper. Mike and I both have one on our jeeps and they are SOLID!

I'd get the frame checked if you got hit hard enough to bend the axle.
Hard to tell from the pics but the whole front end looks tweeked.

David at Northridge 4x4 can get you set up with some nice beefy control arms, new axle, bumper etc.

Bought a lot of JK parts from them, they've always been good to me and the people that work there all wheel thier own Jeeps.

Yep, the jeep certainly is tweeked! The place that's doing the repairs are determined to bring it back to its original state, and looking at the frame is high on the list. The rental car is not near as much fun as my jeep, but I guess I can put up with it for as long as it takes to get the jk back in perfect condition!

Just go the final estimate, $12,000! No frame damage however, just a new axle and a whole bunch of parts. Rampage bumper is ordered and so is a leveling kit. Thanks for the feedback!

Pics for sure! I also got a unity spotlight for Christmas that I might see if they can install for me. If not I guess I'll have to man up and drill the a pillar myself!

If you need a new axle housing anyway you could get the Tera30 for that.
