Yes ... Trap dirt yada yada. Would like to know if anybody as experience with them. Specifically the Seals-it brand. Not the cheap knock offs you see around. I can't stand rusty joints. I'm thinking a coat of fluid film and a boot would prolong the joint ... And look cool

Interesting, the owner of Seals-it "Skip" is my Stepfather best friend. Work together and a mechanic on his race team.

Sent a massage to my mother, Hopefully hear back from him soon . http://www.sealsit.com/rodendboots.asp

Didn't expect many answers on here. He's going to get me a few and I will try the boots out.
I'm reading different opinions. So far .. I have 1 front TB joint. 1 rear TB joint and 2 joints in my RUFF STUFF uppers at the frame.

I would tear all the lowers off in a week! might work well for uppers and track bar. you could use a needle and juice em full of moly-b

So... Mom's holding a box of 6 rod end seals at the house. Not the boots originally posted.
These only cover the exposed area to the ball.

Interested to see how they do! Might be nice to add to the rod ends on the CRC Link...if full traction ever ships it.

Received the seals today. These are for a 3/4 heim joint.

The center is metal like a washer with bonded rubber around it. A few drops of WD-40 or whatever should keep the joint quite and hopefully last longer.

How are these boots/seals holding up? i'm considering the synergy TB and have been thinking of how to protect that joint. Pro's/Con's; does it limit the functionality of the joint?

Ok ... So here's the deal. I've been fighting getting my Ruff Stuff arms together. Between welding together too long/machining to size and having a hell of a time tightening the jam nut. Finally ready to go in (ordered 28mm wrench front Amazon)

I planned on using them with these arms first. Last weak I test fit the arms.. w/ this type seal, the rod end would not fit the mount (Rancho CA bracket) The type seal I have are pretty much a washer w/ bonded rubber to seal only the inside of the joint. The washers measure .050. Total (100 too wide)

I've been too busy at work but planned on machining .050 off each misaligment spacer to fit the mount. Instead, install the arms for now and order 4 new spacers. When I have time machine them down.

I don't know if the track bar brackets have more tolerance (space) for them to work. I'll try and get a Mic in there tomorrow.

Option 2 .. Seals-it makes a full cover which has no bearing on fitment.
