I just bought a pair of these new headlamp bulbs for my JK and was wondering if somebody has done this before and/or would be able to point me to a good tutorial for the installation.
I wish I could contribute more to other posts myself, but unfortunately I'm kind of a mallcrawler...
On a JK, the easiest way is to remove (or just tilt) the grill and go through the front. I just did the same replacement last week. I was able to just leave the grill connected at the bottom and tilt it like a hinge. Very easy to do. Remember, wear gloves so you don't get finger prints from oils on your hand on the bulb. I also used a small amount of bulb grease I bought for about a buck at Autozone. From my understanding it could extend the bulb life. Others might not use this but I figured what the heck. Disregard the you tube video. That's for a YJ or TJ. For a JK you should go by what Dr. Evil listed. It's also in the owner's manual. Definately don't touch the lamp with your fingers unless you're wearing gloves.
And most of all, it's not worth your time and money. Just put Silverstars in my JKU with barely a noticeable difference. Should have just saved the time and money and put into auxillary lighting, or Truklites, or similar.

Headlight aim is also critical once the bulbs are changed. I have yet to see headlight lights aimed properly right from the manufacturer. You would think dealers would check this when they do a PDI.
Also, once a lift and larger tires are added, headlights must again be readjusted.
