*HELP* - TeraFlex lift question - !urgent!

Is it bad if I welded on the rear control arm bracket with out the gusset on the back half of it? 4" long arm for a 2014 JKU

And this is for a friend. He's laying under it right now and sent from his phone for me to ask.

the gusset is for strength so I would want it on just for insurance against bending.

I have found it is usually cheaper in the long run to do it correctly the first time. I have had good luck emailing the TF techline. Probably won't get an answer today but on Monday you will.

You could also try to hit up one of the TF guys on FB. Jacob and Dennis both have pages. Doubt they'll respond but worth a shot.

That was added after people were tearing the mounts off in extreme conditions. DD, light stuff I wouldn't worry about it. Hitting the rocks I would def get the Gussets on.

The TF guys are out on a event now I believe.
