Hi everyone! New here, first post. I own a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. Recently my horn and rear wipers stopped working. The horn is what I'm most concerned with. I checked both fuses and they are ok. I removed the neg battery terminal and cleaned some corrosion, as I was putting it back on I heard the horn beep once. Turned the jeep on thinking it was fixed, no such luck. Is there a relay I should check next? I'm a little afraid to remove the steering wheel cover bc of the airbag. I'm a single mother and going to a dealer at Christmas is not something I can really afford but I know I will not pass inspection. I've only owned the jeep for about a year but there's no warranty left. Any ideas on where to go from here? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

You checked what I would have done.

I have heard that hitting the middle of the steering wheel HARD can get it to work . Just pushing on it , not hard and not in the middle, the horn will not work.

Sometimes the computer gets confused and needs a little push.
If you hold the horn button down for 15 seconds or so, this sometimes helps.
Make sure you check other fuses as well. Sometimes things are wired up funny.
And it wouldn't hurt to pull the fuses and reinstall them. Sometimes they get dirt and stuff in there and they don't like to contact properly.
Might also be the clock spring. But I think you loose the controls on the steering wheel as well. Good luck.
