HUGE issues programming 2013 JK with new gears & tires

I have a 2013 JK, automatic. I changed from 3.12 gears to 4.56 and from the little jeep wheels to new wheels and Nitto tires in 35's (which when measured are actually only 33.5")

I have tried 2 separate Superchips F5 programmers and an AEV programmer and we can't get the jeep programmed. It kicks into limp mode when it runs but mostly the programmers simply hang or fail and the jeep wont program. No blown fuses and tried a 2nd PCM... OMG HELP! we can't program this thing with the new gear size and tire size.... Any similar experiences?

Brand new. I'm at the jeep build shop and we've broken out new ones. One superchips f5 locked up with a white screen the other simply loops and fails. The AEV one is just dip switches but doesn't tune either. could there be a bit set in the pcm preventing this? we unhooked it for an hour to clear it out ...

How does your OBDII connector look? If you've swapped PCMs, and you've swapped programmers, it's time to look at what's between them, and I'd start by looking closely at that connector.

I originally had the ProCal on my 13 Unlimited automatic and installed 35's. Used the ProCal for this and changed it several times to get the speedo just right. I never had a problem. This year I decided that I wanted a tuner so I went with the SuperChips TD1. I accidently "piggy-backed the two programmers but it didn't hurt anything. I was still able to program and monitor without any issues. I recently purchased the TD2 and I then had to 1st set the TD1 to stock mode and then reset mode while still plugged in. Once that was completed I used the ProCal and set the PIN's to the factory reset position and everything was fine. I finally installed the TD2 and had zero issues. Sometimes the programmer states that there is an existing tune and won't progress to the next step. In your case, I would use all programmers that have been tried and make sure they put your vehicle "back" to a stock setting, have the shop get a new TD2 and hook it up to your vehicle after they go to the SuperChips website and make sure it is up to date. From there, if it will sync to your vehicle, I would try to adjust tire size first. If that works return it to the stock tire size and try the gearing option. If that works, I would drive it around the block and then leave that setting on and adjust the tire size. If it will allow you to do that I believe at that time you will be able to fine tune the tire size to give you the correct speed when compared to a GPS.
My regear (also 4.56's) will be completed on Wednesday the 29th at which time I will have to calibrate for gears. I will report back to you on Thursday as to my outcome with the TD2.
