Installed 2.5 lift on my jk teraflex shock spring kit plus rubber bump stops discos and new rear sway bar end links

drives like ass

So my question is Geo brackets or front lower arms

I really don't wanna loss ground clearance

I take it out once a month out to some trails

Adjustable LCA's - Teraflex Alpine's.

Just put them on my 2.5" TF coil lift. Ride is great. Easily adjustable to tune in your caster.

Overall drive will be better with brackets. But you can fix caster and keep your ground clearance with arms.

As above, the TF Alpine arms are a great choice.

Did you get an alignment?

Taking it for one in the am there's not much they can adjust stock right or is there some adjustably

Just toe, but the rest of the numbers will more clearly identify the best course of action for you.

There is no need to adjust the toe since nothing has changed, only thing that needs to be adjusted is the drag link to straighten your steering back to center which is something you could do yourself very easily.

As for loss of ground clearance with geo brackets it's very minimal if you aren't rock crawling I doubt you will ever notice. Plus geo brackets do more than correct the caster.

i run the aev brackets and they have made contact with a few rocks here and there without issues. they're pretty tough. if you are not crawling all the time the 1.5 inches lost in that area are very well worth the gain in drivability. my jk has adjustable links, track bars, rear uppers yet i still run brackets because they work well. until i bend a stock lower arm i am happy to run these. there are things like the front track bar that you could spend some cash on while saving by using the brackets.

Low caster can give that feeling too... Did you get the alignment done? Post the printout so we can help.

1st - I noticed is you are all stock (no winch or steel bumpers) which means you don't have much weight to smooth out the new heavier springs. That will greatly affect ride quality.

2nd - you went to 35" tires right away which also affects ride quality on its own. What tire pressure are you running? Should be around 27psi on a light 2dr..

3rd - there is a difference between what the drop brackets (Geo brackets) do and what arms do. The only thing they have in common is they adjust caster/pinion angle. However, the Geo brackets also address the suspension geometry which control arms do not.

4th - put the stock tires on and see how it feels.

My vote, metalcloak lower arms.

It's only a 2.5" lift. There is absolutely no need for adjustable lower control arms. The caster is not that far out at 2.5" , hence the reason AEV doesn't include the Geo Brackets in their 2.5" lift.
I'll guarantee his issue is more related to the difference he feels going to stiffer springs and 35" tires.

Wait! What? There is no need to actually figure out what the issue is. Throwing arms or brackets on it is cool and then you can boast that you have caster correction (needed or not) on the Internet forums.

I have the same lift but added 1/2" front spacers to account for weight of bumper/winch combo. I went with the redesigned rancho geo brackets and am pleased. Yes, you lose a bit of clearance, but so far in the two outings we've been on I've had no issues with obstruction.

Whatever you do, do not let them install cam bolts when you take it in for alignment. My wife took the jeep in to get the initial alignment done and they only put the cam bolt on the passenger side. Luckily teraflex and synergy sell washers that alleviate that issue.

2.5" lift drove it for a couple years and it was flighty and drove just ok. Installed adj RK lower front arms and love em. Kicking my butt for waiting so long. My suggestion, don't wait.

My vote would be for correction brackets easy to install do an excellent job of returning stock drivability to a lifted JK and don't let anybody fool you the ground clearance is not that big of a deal. I wheeled the hell out of my Jeep and have had zero issues with my control arm brackets.
