Issues with JW Speaker m6145s

Hello everyone -

I went out to my Jeep tonight and noticed some condensation inside my JW Speaker 6145 fogs.

Anyone else have this/heard of this?

Scott

Not feeling good about this... Any seal cracks around the lens, rock hits?

Those are BA.

There has to be a crack/bad seal for that to happen.

Just spoke with Northridge (where I bought them from) and they said JW is aware of this, and a certain amount of condensation is normal, at least in the more damp climates (ie. here in Oregon). They are going to send my images over just to be certain.

I'll update you all with their results.

Yours is the 3rd set I have seen doing this. Along with a set of headlights. So it must be expected up here.

I sure would not like that after spending $$ on head lights. That should not be normal at all

Alright guys, Eric at Northridge got back to me via email:

"I talked to JW Speaker on the lights and they say that is well within the acceptable limits of moisture inside the light. As soon as the weather levels out and warms up a little you should see that dissipate. Keep an eye on it and let me know if it gets worse but at this point there is nothing to worry about."

So I'll keep you (and them) posted.

Scott
