Hi, i`m a nooby here, so if this is in the wrong place sorry.
I bought a jeep rubicon my2012 new. but it came with 3.73 regar axle ratio and (2.72 ?) transfer case, is this normal? all rubis i know come with 4.10. Did this happend to anyone else?
Please help.
Thank You.
All Rubicons came with 4.10's prior to 2012. 2012 plus 3.73's were standard on auto Rubicons. 4.10's were optional. Since 2012 only manual Rubicons have 4.10's standard. All Rubicon transfer cases are 4:1. Your differential will also be "open".
Welcome... my 12 auto Rubi came with 4:10's. I believe it was part of the tow package... I ran 35's with 4:10's and it was fine... recently upgraded to 4:88's and 37's. Don't sweat it unless you are jumping up in tire size.
