I was just checking out JW's website and saw they have a 4"x6" heated LED. It looks like the heating element is a bit thicker than the Trucklite offering. Maybe it will heat better? Anyway, the rounds are probably not too far away.
Thicker is not better. Thinner and more is a better option. Unless you get up close, you can't even see the elements. Looks like JWS took rear defroster elements and slapped them on.

Well, I don't know about any "slapping" at JWS...
The people that I've interacted with there have been engineers, passionate about safe lighting, raising the bar, remaining compliant. They've revolutionized the LED lighting industry and keep bettering the breed.
A thermally conductive grid system that reacts to temperature changes on a real-time basis is a good thing for us, something we've been begging for, something that will help keep us and our families alive.
Too bad this is for the XJ ----- can't wait for the round ones.
I'm in southern Ontario with factory LEDs and they snow/ice over frequently, heated is definitely needed here.
JW Speaker EVO J3 is right around the corner, available in a heated version and best of all the ugly half halo is gone!
