Lift Options?

Hi all,

new jeep owner here, 2010 sahara 2dr.

Of course I'm already thinking of all the goodies to add. I want to put 33s on and obviously have to install a lift kit. I've been looking at the rough country 3.25 inch kit, found here:

3.25in Suspension Lift Kit for 07-15 Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited [PERF694] | Rough Country Suspension Systems

Curious to hear what people with more experience have to say about this. I think it's important to note that I won't be doing any rock crawling or anything. The extent of my off roading is driving on the beach :)

Thanks in advance for any helpful comments.

Yes, too much lift with 33's IMHO. It will make the tires look small. I wound up with about 2.5" with my RK 1.5" springs and my 33x12.50 Duratrac's look great. Although I didn't need the amount of lift I received since it is my DD, I am very happy with the appearance, level stance and drive I now have. I personally wouldn't go over 2.5" of lift in your situation. Now, whether you do a budget boost, leveling kit or springs is up to you. As mommy said, read up, ask questions and don't rush, that is unless you are trying to save some $ during this BF/CM sale. In that case, HURRY UP!

Good price for all you get BUT, that means it's missing critical parts to make it work.
I agree with the others .. 3-4" is a lot of lift for a 33" tire.
If dead set on that kit.. At least get yourself a set of front control arm drop brackets. They only cost around $100
Front lowers are a option too. Cost $250-$350
You want caster angle closer to stock.
