I found what looks to be a little 2 inch hose end above the transmission and drive shaft that's leaking fluid. It looks like it goes into the firewall??
It's hard to describe. The only way to see it is to look up at the firewall on the driver side of the transmission. It's a little 2 inch of black tube sticking out of the firewall that's leaking fluid all over my exhaust, tranny, and cross member
I figured it was a condensate drain but I haven't ever used my a/c. Plus it still drains after its been parked for a day and a half. I can't tell what kind of fluid it is. It doesn't have a smell or color so I'm assuming it's water
It's definitely your a/c drain. Recirc also turns compressor on. If it was a heater core leak, it would be the color of your coolant. No color, no taste, I wouldn't worry about it.
