I had the exact issue with those rails, look where the 2 bolts that secure the rails to the jeep are. There is a large washer in between them, the rail is rubbing it, loosen all the bolts on the rail and reposition it.
Thanks guys, ended up being the rear drive shaft double Cardon grease fitting, bone dry, it's an aftermarket shaft and you have to take it off to actually be able to get grease fitting,on.
I have the same sound on my 2014 jk but it sounds like its coming from the front but i could be wrong. How did you figure out that's where its coming from
Lifted the front and checked everything, then lifted the rear and as I was turning the tires I heard the noise.
