After trial and error with various configurations, and after going through three sets of ball joints, I have recently installed the Metal Cloak Game Changer Fox edition. Wow! What a difference. The Duroflex joints have smoothed out the ride and the first time I got in the rocks and unhooked was off the hook!
You won't be disappointed, the highway ride is much closer to stock than the configuration I was running before. And much more flex. In fact, I need to remove one inch of bump stop to get the full flex- I used two, but only one is necessary and the second inch is limiting up travel.
First, thank you to the OP for the thread and for the kudos. I am personally humbled every time one of you uses your hard earned money to buy one of our products and can only hope that we are exceeding your expectations.
A note about maintenance. Early videos and instructions mentioned recommended yearly maintenance. Since then, and since experiencing tens of thousands of on and off road miles, we've learned that annual maintenance was not a requirement or even a recommendation.
For some of you, maintenance may just be the way you take care of your rig and that is totally cool. I know some customers who do that routine with their joints every six months.
I, on the other hand, am not that kind of Jeep owner. I tend to be more neglectful and am running joints in the same rig for three years now, untouched.
Anyway, I hope this clears up any confusion on maintenance.
